heroine, Andie Walsh is an intelligent, interesting girl from the wrong
side of the tracks.  She is all things beautiful, and studious.  More over,
she completely owns, and rocks a unique style.  Her bourgeois peers
take note, then torture her accordingly.  Andie has a circle of rad
friends including the illuminating Annie Potts, and Duckie, her love
sick side-kick.  Andie works at the totally tubular Trax, a record
store.  It's there she meets and speaks to the dreamy, richie-rich
Blaine.  He likes what he sees, and romance riddled with conflict
begins.  I cherish this flicker with all my heart.  Do yourself a favor,
rent it + love it.
