According to the travel channel, one of the best destinations in Southern California for an ice cream sundae is South Pasadena's own
Fair Oaks Pharmacy Co. On Monday night husband and I decided to see what all of the fuss was about. I loved it. I opted for a brownie sundae with pistachio nut ice cream. It was so rich that I only ate 1/4 of the beast. I couldn't even eat my cherry! Now that's a sacrilege. Husband didn't enjoy it as much as I did. But, his sundae only sported vanilla. I know, vanilla ice cream is lame! So, I blame his own poor judgement. I definitely recommend this darling ice cream and soda shoppe. Next stop, New York's Serendipity.
