This Face.

I'm missing my partner in crime today.
I wish we could do some exploring together.
Grab some gelato?
Go to LACMA?
Arts 'N Crafts time?
Veg out on the couch?
{Loud dramatic sigh.}
That all sounds so lovely.

Detours.

Procrastination Station: Urban Bookmarks.

I never, ever have a pretty book mark to use. And so it is, I decided to retire my usual hair pin proxy for a beautiful pager marker. Steal my How To for you next Procrastination Station!

Step One:
Next time to you go to Urban Outfitters, save your clothing tags. I have always admired the out of focus, dreamy quality of the pictures printed on the tags.
Step Two:
Grab your scissors, a bit of string, Sharpies, glue stick, and some heavy stock paper.
Step Three:
Cut the stock the same measurements as the tag, adhering securely.
Step Four:
Add your message or image on the back. I simply write, "Ashley's Bookmark." Simple is good, simple is our friend.
Step Five:
Poke the card stock based on the existing hole of the tag. Pull a string through the hole, and tie luggage tag style.
Step Six:
Enjoy and admire the loveliness of your kept page. P.S. friends and family be expecting one of these lovelies in the immediate future!

Family Portrait.

My boys are completely resistant to photos.
Either one, or both sabotages the picture.
Imperfect as the image may be,
it's an accurate depiction of our family.
And completely heart warming.

The Easter Beagle.

Why are all of our holidays completely unorthodox? We had Chinese food for our Easter feast and watched Bryan's favorite show, "To Catch a Predator" afterward. I suggested a walk, play games or go for a drive. Nope. I was vetoed. Because nothing says Easter like trolling perverts! Regardless of the Yazzie crazy we did color eggs, watched conference and Charlie Brown's EASTER BEAGLE. I'll admit, our family time is NEVER boring and ALWAYS memorable.

Drink Up Life!

Easter is going to be lovely.
I'm looking forward to eggs, baskets,
food, sunshine, conference, snuggling
and Tom Foolery in general.
I intend on drinking up life.
Have a very Happy Easter.

Interior Motives: Plant Life.

Last week I potted new succulents in my kitchen.
These are much more durable than my last batch.
I particularly enjoy the little cactus.
Like cacti, Bryan and I are
durable, tough, and never retreat.
