I'm thankful for kick arse music.
Last night's concert was in a league all by itself. Bunnie and I saw Blonde Redhead at the Music Box Theater in Hollywood. It was the culmination of everything delightful in one performance; incredible band, brilliant lighting design, clever set design, charming venue, and impeccable sound. At times it was almost too much to bare, because the experience was so spot on. Kazu was a siren calling her other worldly strains from an empty ocean. Amedeo went Jimmy Hendricks on us in the encore; thrashing about on the ground with his guitar. It was pure concentrate rock and roll.
